योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-51, verse-42

कदाचिदुदितार्काभं तेजो दृष्ट्वान्तरे मनः ।
विषयोन्मुखतां यातं तस्य तामरसेक्षण ॥ ४२ ॥
kadāciduditārkābhaṃ tejo dṛṣṭvāntare manaḥ ,
viṣayonmukhatāṃ yātaṃ tasya tāmarasekṣaṇa 42

viṣaya-unmukhatām yātam tasya tāmarasa-īkṣaṇa

42. O lotus-eyed one (tāmaraseṣaṇa), sometimes the mind (manaḥ), having perceived an internal brilliance (tejas) like the rising sun, still returns to its inclination towards external sense objects.
