योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-10, verse-34

अब्बिम्बितस्य चन्द्रस्य चलने कर्त्रकर्तृते ।
न सत्ये नानृते यद्वत्तद्वत्कालस्य सृष्टिषु ॥ ३४ ॥
abbimbitasya candrasya calane kartrakartṛte ,
na satye nānṛte yadvattadvatkālasya sṛṣṭiṣu 34
34. ap bimbitasya candrasya calane kartṛtā akartṛtā
na satye na anṛte yadvat tadvat kālasya sṛṣṭiṣu
34. ap-bimbitasya candrasya calane kartṛtā-akartṛtā yadvat na satye na anṛte (bhavataḥ),
tadvat kālasya sṛṣṭiṣu (api etat asti).
34. Just as the agency and non-agency regarding the movement of the moon reflected in water is neither real nor unreal, so too is it with the creations of time.
