योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-6, verse-5

रक्षार्थं तस्य यज्ञस्य द्रष्टुमैच्छत्स पार्थिवम् ।
नहि शक्नोत्यविघ्नेन समाप्तुं स मुनिः क्रतुम् ॥ ५ ॥
rakṣārthaṃ tasya yajñasya draṣṭumaicchatsa pārthivam ,
nahi śaknotyavighnena samāptuṃ sa muniḥ kratum 5
5. rakṣārtham tasya yajñasya draṣṭum aicchat saḥ pārthivam
| na hi śaknoti avighnena samāptum saḥ muniḥ kratum ||
5. saḥ muniḥ tasya yajñasya rakṣārtham pārthivam draṣṭum
aicchat nahi saḥ muniḥ avighnena kratum samāptum śaknoti
5. For the protection of that Vedic ritual (yajña), he desired to see the king. Indeed, that sage was unable to complete the Vedic ritual (kratu) without obstacles.
