योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-6, verse-22

करुणाक्रान्तचेतत्तवात्प्रसन्नैर्मधुराक्षरैः ।
वीक्षणैरमृतेनेव संसिञ्चन्तमिमाः प्रजाः ॥ २२ ॥

vīkṣaṇairamṛteneva saṃsiñcantamimāḥ prajāḥ 22
22. karuṇākrāntacetattvāt prasannaiḥ madhurākṣaraiḥ
vīkṣaṇaiḥ amṛtena iva saṃsiñcantam imāḥ prajāḥ
22. From a mind (cetas) overcome by compassion, he showers these beings (prajāḥ) as if with nectar through his serene and gentle glances.
