बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-6, verse-29

चत्वारिंशद्विभागानामधिपा विषमे क्रियात् ।
समभे तुलतो ज्ञेयाः स्वस्वाधिपसमन्विताः ॥२९॥
29. catvāriṃśadvibhāgānāmadhipā viṣame kriyāt .
samabhe tulato jñeyāḥ svasvādhipasamanvitāḥ.
29. catvāriṃśat vibhāgānām adhipāḥ viṣame kriyāt
samabhe tulataḥ jñeyāḥ svasvādhipasamanvitāḥ
29. The lords of the fortieth divisions (catvāriṃśāṃśa) in odd signs are to be known starting from Aries. In even signs, they are to be known starting from Libra, and these lords are associated with their respective sign lords.
