12.
The lords of the navamsha (ninth divisional chart) begin from the movable sign itself when the sign is movable. For fixed signs, they begin from its ninth house. For dual signs, they begin from its fifth house. This is how it should be understood by the discerning. Furthermore, deities, humans, and demons are associated with movable and other signs, respectively.
