जलञ्च क्षिपति ब्रह्मा स तथा प्रकृतिर्विभु ।
अव्यक्तं क्षेत्रमुदिष्टं ब्रह्मा क्षेत्रज्ञ उच्यते ॥७२॥

72. jalañca kṣipati brahmā sa tathā prakṛtirvibhu .
avyaktaṃ kṣetramudiṣṭaṃ brahmā kṣetrajña ucyate.

jalam ca kṣipati brahmā sa tathā prakṛtiḥ vibhuḥ
avyaktam kṣetram udiṣṭam brahmā kṣetrajña ucyate

Brahmā casts forth water. Similarly, the all-pervading nature (prakṛti) is declared to be the unmanifest field (kṣetra). Brahmā is said to be the knower of the field (kṣetrajña).
