शब्दः स्पर्शश्च रूपञ्च रसमात्रं समाविशत् ॥५४॥

dviguṇaḥ tu tataḥ ca agniḥ sa śabdasparśarūpavān

And thereafter, fire (agni) emerges with its composite nature; it possesses sound, touch, and form. Then, sound, touch, and form gave rise to the subtle element of taste (rasamātra).
