मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-22, verse-46

पुत्रावूचतुः ।
ततः स राजा संस्कारं पुत्रपत्नीमलम्भयत् ।
निर्गम्य च बहिः स्नातो ददौ पुत्राय चोदकम् ॥४६॥
46. putrāvūcatuḥ .
tataḥ sa rājā saṃskāraṃ putrapatnīmalambhayat .
nirgamya ca bahiḥ snāto dadau putrāya codakam.
46. putrau ūcatuḥ | tataḥ sa rājā saṃskāram putra-patnīm
alambhayat | nirgamya ca bahiḥ snātaḥ dadau putrāya ca udakam
46. The two sons said: "Then that king had his son's wife perform a purificatory rite (saṃskāra). And having gone outside, after bathing, he gave water to his son."
