त्यजता ब्राह्मणार्थाय प्राणान् सर्वे स्म तारिताः ॥३७॥

Neither is he (Daśaratha) to be lamented, nor indeed is this woman (Sītā), nor am I, nor is that mother (Kaikeyī or Sumitrā). By him sacrificing his lives (prāṇān) for the sake of the Brahmin (brāhmaṇa), we have all indeed been saved.
