पुत्रावूचतुः ।
इत्युक्त्वोत्सृज्य दत्भूमौ स जगाम यथागतम् ।
निपपात जनः सोऽथ शोकार्तो मूर्च्छयाऽतुरः ॥२३॥

ityuktvotsṛjya datbhūmau sa jagāma yathāgatam .

23.
The two sons recounted: Having thus spoken, and having cast it on the ground, he departed the way he had come. Then that person (the king), afflicted by grief and distressed by fainting, collapsed.
