मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-22, verse-12

अभिष्टूय त्वरायुक्तः समभ्येमीति वादिनम् ।
तं प्रणम्य ततः प्रादात् स तस्मै कण्ठभूषणम् ॥१२॥
12. abhiṣṭūya tvarāyuktaḥ samabhyemīti vādinam .
taṃ praṇamya tataḥ prādāt sa tasmai kaṇṭhabhūṣaṇam.

praṇamya tataḥ prādāt sa tasmai kaṇṭhabhūṣaṇam
12. Having praised [Varuna] and being swift, he (the ascetic) said, 'I shall come back.' Then, having bowed to that speaker (the ascetic), he (the hero) gave him the neck-ornament.
