मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-22, verse-4

स यथोक्तस्ततः पित्रा तथा चक्रे नृपात्मजः ।
परिक्रम्य महीं सर्वां ववन्दे चरणौ पितुः ॥४॥
4. sa yathoktastataḥ pitrā tathā cakre nṛpātmajaḥ .
parikramya mahīṃ sarvāṃ vavande caraṇau pituḥ.
4. saḥ yathā uktaḥ tataḥ pitrā tathā cakre nṛpātmajaḥ
parikramya mahīm sarvām vavande caraṇau pituḥ
4. Then, the prince (nṛpātmaja), as instructed by his father, acted accordingly. Having traversed the entire earth (mahī), he bowed down to his father's feet.
