महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-24, verse-27

तत्रैकबाणनिहतानपश्याम महागजान् ।
पतितान्पात्यमानांश्च विभिन्नान्सव्यसाचिना ॥२७॥
27. tatraikabāṇanihatānapaśyāma mahāgajān ,
patitānpātyamānāṁśca vibhinnānsavyasācinā.

27. We saw there mighty elephants, fallen and falling, pierced and struck down by a single arrow from Savyasācin (Arjuna).
