महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-97, verse-35

तामश्मवृष्टिं तुमुलां पार्वतीयैः समीरिताम् ।
बिभेदोरगसंकाशैर्नाराचैः शिनिपुंगवः ॥३५॥
35. tāmaśmavṛṣṭiṁ tumulāṁ pārvatīyaiḥ samīritām ,
bibhedoragasaṁkāśairnārācaiḥ śinipuṁgavaḥ.

35. The chief of the Śinis (Śinipuṅgava) pierced that tumultuous shower of stones, which had been hurled by the mountaineers, with his serpent-like iron arrows.
