धनुरन्यत्समादाय शिखण्डी तु महायशाः ।
अवारयत्कूर्मनखैराशुगैर्हृदिकात्मजम् ॥३५॥

35. But Śikhaṇḍin, the highly renowned, taking another bow, warded off Hṛdika's son (Kṛtavarman) with swift-flying, tortoise-claw-shaped arrows.
