महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-90, verse-29

शिखण्डी तु ततः क्रुद्धश्छिन्ने धनुषि सत्वरम् ।
असिं जग्राह समरे शतचन्द्रं च भास्वरम् ॥२९॥
29. śikhaṇḍī tu tataḥ kruddhaśchinne dhanuṣi satvaram ,
asiṁ jagrāha samare śatacandraṁ ca bhāsvaram.

asim jagrāha samare śatacandram ca bhāsvaram

29. But then, enraged, when his bow was broken, Shikhaṇḍin swiftly grasped a brilliant sword, shining with a hundred moon-like marks, in battle.
