महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-61, verse-50

यद्वृत्तं तात संग्रामे मन्दस्यापनयैर्भृशम् ।
लोभानुगतदुर्बुद्धेः क्रोधेन विकृतात्मनः ॥५०॥
50. yadvṛttaṁ tāta saṁgrāme mandasyāpanayairbhṛśam ,
lobhānugatadurbuddheḥ krodhena vikṛtātmanaḥ.

lobhānugatadurbuddheḥ krodhena vikṛtātmanaḥ
50. tāta saṃgrāme lobhānugatadurbuddheḥ krodhena

50. O dear one (tāta), relate to me what transpired in the battle regarding that foolish one (Duryodhana), whose wicked intellect is completely governed by greed, whose inner nature (ātman) is distorted by anger, and who committed numerous wrongdoings.
