महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-61, verse-36

मयापि चोक्तास्ते वीरा वचनं धर्मसंहितम् ।
नान्यथा प्रकरिष्यन्ति धर्मात्मानो हि पाण्डवाः ॥३६॥
36. mayāpi coktāste vīrā vacanaṁ dharmasaṁhitam ,
nānyathā prakariṣyanti dharmātmāno hi pāṇḍavāḥ.
36. mayā api ca uktāḥ te vīrāḥ vacanam dharmasaṃhitam
na anyathā prakariṣyanti dharmātmānaḥ hi pāṇḍavāḥ
36. ca api te vīrāḥ mayā dharmasaṃhitam vacanam uktāḥ.
hi dharmātmānaḥ pāṇḍavāḥ na anyathā prakariṣyanti.
36. Moreover, those heroes have been told by me words consonant with natural law (dharma). Indeed, the Pāṇḍavas, whose very nature (ātman) is righteousness (dharma), will certainly not act otherwise.
