महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-61, verse-22

ततोऽहमब्रुवं सूत मन्दं दुर्योधनं तदा ।
वासुदेवेन तीर्थेन पुत्र संशाम्य पाण्डवैः ॥२२॥
22. tato'hamabruvaṁ sūta mandaṁ duryodhanaṁ tadā ,
vāsudevena tīrthena putra saṁśāmya pāṇḍavaiḥ.
22. tataḥ aham abruvam sūta mandam duryodhanam tadā
vāsudevena tīrthena putra saṃśāmya pāṇḍavaiḥ
22. sūta tataḥ tadā aham mandam duryodhanam abruvam

22. Then, O charioteer (sūta), I spoke to the dull-witted Duryodhana at that time: "O son (putra), make peace with the Pandavas, using Vasudeva (Krishna) as the means."
