महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-80, verse-49

अभि गत्वार्जुनं वीरं राजभिर्बहुभिर्वृतः ।
पुरस्तात्पृष्ठतश्चैव पार्श्वतश्चैव सर्वतः ॥४९॥
49. abhi gatvārjunaṁ vīraṁ rājabhirbahubhirvṛtaḥ ,
purastātpṛṣṭhataścaiva pārśvataścaiva sarvataḥ.
49. abhi gatvā arjunam vīram rājabhiḥ bahubhiḥ vṛtaḥ
purastāt pṛṣṭhataḥ ca eva pārśvataḥ ca eva sarvataḥ
49. vīram arjunam abhi gatvā bahubhiḥ rājabhiḥ vṛtaḥ
purastāt pṛṣṭhataḥ ca eva pārśvataḥ ca eva sarvataḥ
49. Having approached the heroic Arjuna, (he was) surrounded by many kings, from the front, from behind, from the sides, and indeed from all directions.
