महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-80, verse-17

हताश्वं तु रथं त्यक्त्वा दृष्ट्वा राज्ञस्तु पौरुषम् ।
विप्रदुद्राव वेगेन श्रुतायुः समरे तदा ॥१७॥
17. hatāśvaṁ tu rathaṁ tyaktvā dṛṣṭvā rājñastu pauruṣam ,
vipradudrāva vegena śrutāyuḥ samare tadā.

17. Shrutayu then quickly fled from the battle, having abandoned his chariot with dead horses and witnessing the valor of the king (Yudhishthira).
