महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-30, verse-26

अभिषक्तो ह्यभिषजेदाहन्याद्गुरुणा हतः ।
एवं विनाशो भूतानामधर्मः प्रथितो भवेत् ॥२६॥
26. abhiṣakto hyabhiṣajedāhanyādguruṇā hataḥ ,
evaṁ vināśo bhūtānāmadharmaḥ prathito bhavet.
26. abhiṣaktaḥ hi abhiṣajet āhanyāt guruṇā hataḥ
evam vināśaḥ bhūtānām adharmaḥ prathitaḥ bhavet
26. For, one who has been accused would surely accuse in return; one who has been struck by a superior would strike back. In this way, the ruin of beings would become widely known as unrighteousness (adharma).
