krodhaḥ tu apaṇḍitaiḥ śaśvat tejaḥ iti abhidhīyate

Anger, however, is always called 'power (tejas)' by the ignorant. That [anger] is [actually] the quality of passion (rajas), which is ordained for the destruction of humankind.
