महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-30, verse-18

क्रुद्धो हि कार्यं सुश्रोणि न यथावत्प्रपश्यति ।
न कार्यं न च मर्यादां नरः क्रुद्धोऽनुपश्यति ॥१८॥

18. Indeed, O beautiful-hipped lady (suśroṇi), an angry person does not perceive his duty (kārya) properly. An angry man (nara) sees neither his duty (kārya) nor proper limits (maryādā).
