महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-261, verse-5

चरितब्रह्मचर्यास्ते कृतदाराश्च पार्थिव ।
यदा तदा दशरथः प्रीतिमानभवत्सुखी ॥५॥
5. caritabrahmacaryāste kṛtadārāśca pārthiva ,
yadā tadā daśarathaḥ prītimānabhavatsukhī.

yadā tadā daśarathaḥ prītimān abhavat sukhī
5. O King, when they had completed their period of celibacy (brahmacarya) and taken wives, Dasharatha became delighted and happy.
