महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-261, verse-32

तामुवाच स धर्मात्मा नृशंसं बत ते कृतम् ।
पतिं हत्वा कुलं चेदमुत्साद्य धनलुब्धया ॥३२॥
32. tāmuvāca sa dharmātmā nṛśaṁsaṁ bata te kṛtam ,
patiṁ hatvā kulaṁ cedamutsādya dhanalubdhayā.
32. tām uvāca saḥ dharmātmā nṛśaṃsam bata te kṛtam
patim hatvā kulam ca idam utsādya dhanalubdhayā
32. The righteous-souled one (dharmātmā) said to her: "Alas, what a cruel deed you have committed! Greedy for wealth, you have caused the death of your husband and ruined this family."
