महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-261, verse-47

स्वानमात्यान्विसृज्याथ विविक्ते तामुवाच सः ।
केनास्येवं कृता भद्रे मामचिन्त्यावमन्य च ॥४७॥
47. svānamātyānvisṛjyātha vivikte tāmuvāca saḥ ,
kenāsyevaṁ kṛtā bhadre māmacintyāvamanya ca.
47. sva-amātyān visṛjya atha vivikte tām uvāca saḥ
kena asya evam kṛtā bhadre mām acintyā avamanya ca
47. Then, having dismissed his ministers, he spoke to her privately in a secluded place: "O dear one, who has done this to you, thus disfiguring you and disrespecting me, whose might is inconceivable?"
