न मूर्खं जनयेत्पुत्रं न भवेच्च निराकृतिः ॥५२॥

52. ākhyānaṁ ya idaṁ yuktaḥ paṭhetparvaṇi parvaṇi ,

Whoever, being diligent, recites this narrative on every auspicious occasion, will not beget a foolish son, nor will he be subjected to disrespect.
