महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-96, verse-27

ययातिरुवाच ।
अनृतौ जटी व्रतिन्यां वै भार्यायां संप्रजायतु ।
निराकरोतु वेदांश्च यस्ते हरति पुष्करम् ॥२७॥
27. yayātiruvāca ,
anṛtau jaṭī vratinyāṁ vai bhāryāyāṁ saṁprajāyatu ,
nirākarotu vedāṁśca yaste harati puṣkaram.

samprajāyatu | nirākarotu vedān ca yaḥ te harati puṣkaram
27. yayātiḥ uvāca yaḥ te puṣkaram harati,
saḥ anṛtau,

27. Yayāti said: "Let him who takes your lotus (puṣkaram) be born as an ascetic with matted hair from a wife observing a vow, at an unsuitable time, and let him reject the Vedas."
