न मया भगवँल्लोभाद्धृतं पुष्करमद्य वै ।
धर्मं तु श्रोतुकामेन हृतं न क्रोद्धुमर्हसि ॥४७॥

na mayā bhagavaँllobhāddhṛtaṁ puṣkaramadya vai ,
dharmaṁ tu śrotukāmena hṛtaṁ na kroddhumarhasi.

Indra said: 'O revered one (bhagavan), Pushkara was certainly not taken by me today out of greed. Rather, it was taken by one wishing to hear about the natural law (dharma); therefore, you should not be angry.'
