महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-96, verse-25

जमदग्निरुवाच ।
अनध्यायेष्वधीयीत मित्रं श्राद्धे च भोजयेत् ।
श्राद्धे शूद्रस्य चाश्नीयाद्यस्ते हरति पुष्करम् ॥२५॥
25. jamadagniruvāca ,
anadhyāyeṣvadhīyīta mitraṁ śrāddhe ca bhojayet ,
śrāddhe śūdrasya cāśnīyādyaste harati puṣkaram.
25. jamadagniḥ uvāca | anadhyāyeṣu adhīyīta mitram śrāddhe ca
bhojayet | śrāddhe śūdrasya ca aśnīyāt yaḥ te harati puṣkaram
25. Jamadagni said: May he who takes your fortune study on non-study days, may he feed his friend at a śrāddha ceremony, and may he eat at a śrāddha ceremony offered by a śūdra.
