महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-96, verse-51

प्रययुस्ते ततो भूयस्तीर्थानि वनगोचराः ।
पुण्यतीर्थेषु च तथा गात्राण्याप्लावयन्ति ते ॥५१॥
51. prayayuste tato bhūyastīrthāni vanagocarāḥ ,
puṇyatīrtheṣu ca tathā gātrāṇyāplāvayanti te.
51. prayayuḥ te tataḥ bhūyaḥ tīrthāni vanagocarāḥ
puṇyatīrtheṣu ca tathā gātrāṇi āplāvayanti te
51. Those forest-dwellers again went from there to the sacred bathing places. And thus, they would immerse their bodies in the holy fords.
