महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-96, verse-30

नारद उवाच ।
गूढोऽज्ञानी बहिः शास्त्रं पठतां विस्वरं पदम् ।
गरीयसोऽवजानातु यस्ते हरति पुष्करम् ॥३०॥
30. nārada uvāca ,
gūḍho'jñānī bahiḥ śāstraṁ paṭhatāṁ visvaraṁ padam ,
garīyaso'vajānātu yaste harati puṣkaram.
30. nāradaḥ uvāca | gūḍhaḥ ajñānī bahiḥ śāstram paṭhatām
visvaram padam | garīyasaḥ avajānātu yaḥ te harati puṣkaram
30. nāradaḥ uvāca yaḥ te puṣkaram harati,
(saḥ) gūḍhaḥ ajñānī (astu),
bahiḥ śāstram paṭhatām visvaram padam (astu),
ca garīyasaḥ avajānātu.
30. Nārada said: May he be a hidden ignoramus, whose reading of scriptures aloud produces incorrectly pronounced words, and may he disrespect his superiors—whoever takes your lotus.
