महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-96, verse-50

इत्युक्तः स महेन्द्रेण तपस्वी कोपनो भृशम् ।
जग्राह पुष्करं धीमान्प्रसन्नश्चाभवन्मुनिः ॥५०॥

50. Having been addressed thus by Mahendra, that ascetic, who was exceedingly prone to anger, then, being a wise sage, took up the lotus and became pleased.
