महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-187, verse-36

दूरगं बहुधागामि प्रार्थनासंशयात्मकम् ।
मनः सुनियतं यस्य स सुखी प्रेत्य चेह च ॥३६॥
36. dūragaṁ bahudhāgāmi prārthanāsaṁśayātmakam ,
manaḥ suniyataṁ yasya sa sukhī pretya ceha ca.

36. The mind wanders far, goes in many directions, and is characterized by desires and doubts. He whose mind is well-controlled is happy both in this world and after death.
