महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-187, verse-24

अतिभावगता बुद्धिर्भावे मनसि वर्तते ।
प्रवर्तमानं हि रजस्तद्भावमनुवर्तते ॥२४॥
24. atibhāvagatā buddhirbhāve manasi vartate ,
pravartamānaṁ hi rajastadbhāvamanuvartate.

24. The intellect, having reached an intense state, operates within that state of mind. Indeed, the quality of activity (rajas), when manifesting, follows that very state.
