महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-168, verse-16

एवं पुत्राश्च पौत्राश्च ज्ञातयो बान्धवास्तथा ।
तेषु स्नेहो न कर्तव्यो विप्रयोगो हि तैर्ध्रुवम् ॥१६॥

16. evaṁ putrāśca pautrāśca jñātayo bāndhavāstathā ,
teṣu sneho na kartavyo viprayogo hi tairdhruvam.

16. Thus, one should not form attachment (sneha) to sons, grandsons, relatives, and kinsmen, for separation from them is indeed inevitable.
