हृदयेन्दोर्गलश्रेणी दुःखाब्जतिमिरावलिः ।
कृष्णायःशृङ्खलातृष्णा दिनानुदिनमुज्झति ॥ ९ ॥

kṛṣṇāyaḥśṛṅkhalātṛṣṇā dinānudinamujjhati 9
9. hṛdayendoḥ galaśreṇī duḥkhābjatimirāvaliḥ

9. hṛdayendoḥ galaśreṇī,
duḥkhābjatimirāvaliḥ,
kṛṣṇāyaḥśṛṅkhalātṛṣṇā ca dinānudinam ujjhati
9. Day by day, the current of emotions from the moon-like heart, the pervasive darkness of the sorrow-lotus, and the craving (tṛṣṇā) that is a black iron chain, all vanish.
