योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-45, verse-36

आत्यन्तिकी विरसता यस्य दृश्येषु दृश्यते ।
स बुद्धो ना प्रबुद्धस्य दृश्यत्यागे हि शक्तता ॥ ३६ ॥
ātyantikī virasatā yasya dṛśyeṣu dṛśyate ,
sa buddho nā prabuddhasya dṛśyatyāge hi śaktatā 36
36. ātyantikī virasatā yasya dṛśyeṣu dṛśyate saḥ
buddhaḥ na aprabuddhasya dṛśyatyāge hi śaktatā
36. yasya dṛśyeṣu ātyantikī virasatā dṛśyate,
saḥ buddhaḥ.
hi aprabuddhasya dṛśyatyāge na śaktatā.
36. He in whom ultimate disinterest (virasatā) is seen towards all perceived objects (dṛśya) is truly awakened. Indeed, the unawakened person does not possess the capacity to abandon these perceived objects.
