योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-45, verse-34

यथाऽप्रकटिताङ्गान्तःसंस्थिता शालभञ्जिका ।
न सती नासती स्तम्भे तथा विश्वस्थितिः परे ॥ ३४ ॥
yathā'prakaṭitāṅgāntaḥsaṃsthitā śālabhañjikā ,
na satī nāsatī stambhe tathā viśvasthitiḥ pare 34

34. Just as a sculpture, with its forms unrevealed, existing within a pillar, is neither fully existent nor non-existent in the pillar, so too is the state of the universe in the Supreme (brahman).
