योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-150, verse-53

मुनिरुवाच ।
संकल्पकमनस्पन्दः संकल्पादिक्षयोदये ।
यथा हेतुर्निरास्पन्दोऽचिराद्धि त्रिजगत्तथा ॥ ५३ ॥
muniruvāca ,
saṃkalpakamanaspandaḥ saṃkalpādikṣayodaye ,
yathā heturnirāspando'cirāddhi trijagattathā 53
53. muniḥ uvāca | saṃkalpaka manas
spandaḥ saṃkalpa ādi kṣaya
udaye | yathā hetuḥ nirāspandaḥ
acirāt hi trijagāt tathā || 53 ||
53. muniḥ uvāca yathā saṃkalpaka manas spandaḥ saṃkalpa ādi kṣaya udaye hetuḥ,
tathā nirāspandaḥ hi acirāt trijagāt (bhavati)
53. The sage said: Just as the vibration of the mind, characterized by intention (saṃkalpa), is the cause of the rise and fall of intentions and similar phenomena, so too, the three worlds (trijagat) manifest quickly from that which is devoid of vibration.
