इमां भोगास्थयावस्थां प्राप्तोऽस्म्यज्ञ इवाध्वगः ।
धावञ्छ्रमार्तिरम्ब्वर्थी व्यर्थया मृगतृष्णया ॥ १४ ॥

14. I have reached this state due to my attachment to worldly enjoyments (bhoga), just like an ignorant traveler, afflicted by fatigue and seeking water, runs after a futile mirage (mṛgatṛṣṇā).
