चक्षुः पश्यतु कर्णश्च श्रृणोतु त्वक्स्पृशत्विदम् ।
रसना च रसं यातु कात्र कोऽहमिति स्थितिः ॥ ६ ॥

cakṣuḥ paśyatu karṇaśca śrṛṇotu tvakspṛśatvidam ,
rasanā ca rasaṃ yātu kātra ko'hamiti sthitiḥ 6

6. cakṣuḥ paśyatu karṇaḥ ca śṛṇotu tvak spṛśatu idam
rasanā ca rasam yātu kā atra kaḥ aham iti sthitiḥ

6. cakṣuḥ paśyatu,
karṇaḥ ca śṛṇotu,
tvak idam spṛśatu,
rasanā ca rasam yātu.
atra kā kaḥ aham iti sthitiḥ?

6. Let the eye see, and the ear hear; let the skin touch this (world), and the tongue perceive taste. Where, then, in this (process), is the state of 'I am'?
