योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-53, verse-38

यावदप्रतिबुद्धस्त्वमनात्मज्ञतया स्थितः ।
तावच्चतुर्भुजाकारदेवपूजापरो भव ॥ ३८ ॥
yāvadapratibuddhastvamanātmajñatayā sthitaḥ ,
tāvaccaturbhujākāradevapūjāparo bhava 38
38. yāvat apratibuddhaḥ tvam anātmajñatayā sthitaḥ
tāvat caturbhujākāradevāpūjāparaḥ bhava
38. tvam yāvat anātmajñatayā apratibuddhaḥ sthitaḥ
tāvat caturbhujākāradevāpūjāparaḥ bhava
38. As long as you remain unawakened, unaware of the ātman (ātman), for that long, you should be devoted to the worship of the four-armed deity.
