योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-38, verse-6

अष्टभागदशाशेषप्रतापमधुराकृति ।
शस्त्रघातौजसा वीर इवाहस्तनुतां ययौ ॥ ६ ॥

aṣṭabhāgadaśāśeṣapratāpamadhurākṛti ,
śastraghātaujasā vīra ivāhastanutāṃ yayau 6

6. The day declined after it had run its course of the eight watches (Yamardhas), and assumed the graceful countenance of a hero, returning in glory, after he has fought his battle.
