वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-6, verse-22

अमरा ऋषयश्चैव संहत्य किल शंकरम् ।
अस्मद्वधं परीप्सन्त इदमूचुस्त्रिलोचनम् ॥२२॥
22. amarā ṛṣayaścaiva saṃhatya kila śaṃkaram ,
asmadvadhaṃ parīpsanta idamūcustrilocanam.
22. amarāḥ ṛṣayaḥ ca eva saṃhatya kila śaṅkaram |
asmat-vadham parīpsantaḥ idam ūcuḥ trilocanam
22. The immortal beings and the sages, indeed, having assembled, desirous of our destruction, spoke these words to Śaṅkara, the three-eyed god.
