When benefics are situated in the Ascendant (lagna) and the seventh house, and malefics are situated in the tenth and fourth houses, this planetary combination (yoga) is declared to be the Vajra yoga. Conversely, if planets are situated in the opposite manner (malefics in the Ascendant and seventh, benefics in the tenth and fourth), it is called Yava yoga.
