महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-3, verse-20

चरन्तीव महाविद्युन्मुष्णन्ती नयनप्रभाम् ।
अलातमिव चाविद्धं गाण्डीवं समदृश्यत ॥२०॥
20. carantīva mahāvidyunmuṣṇantī nayanaprabhām ,
alātamiva cāviddhaṁ gāṇḍīvaṁ samadṛśyata.

alātam iva ca āviddham gāṇḍīvam samadṛśyata
20. gāṇḍīvam mahāvidyut iva carantī nayanaprabhām

20. The Gaṇḍīva bow was seen moving like a great flash of lightning, stealing the light from the eyes, and whirling like a firebrand.
