महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-3, verse-11

पुत्रो भ्राता पिता चैव स्वस्रेयो मातुलस्तथा ।
संबन्धिबान्धवाश्चैव योध्या वै क्षत्रजीविना ॥११॥
11. putro bhrātā pitā caiva svasreyo mātulastathā ,
saṁbandhibāndhavāścaiva yodhyā vai kṣatrajīvinā.

sambandhibāndhavāḥ ca eva yodhyā vai kṣatrajīvinā

11. Son, brother, father, and also nephew, and maternal uncle, as well as other relatives and kinsmen—all these are indeed to be fought by a kṣatriya, one who lives by the warrior's code.
